The “POLYKUM e.V. Association - Promotion of Development for Polymer and Plastic Technology in Central Germany”, an association founded in 2002, functions as a cooperative network uniting polymer manufacturers and processors, academic and non-academic institutions, scientific establishments, plastic engineers, tool and mould makers, service providers and economically oriented facilities for plastic technology.
The network provides all its participants with a platform for cooperative action, active information exchange and a chance to enhance their presence.
The association aims to tightly interweave small and mid-sized companies with the scientific field at each section of the value chain. The innovation and competitiveness of each company is then increased both within the region and beyond, while the transfer of science, innovation and technology is promoted.
